About

You've just arrived at the online residence of wandie and reika. The two of them are NO LONGER separated (but are still inseparable) by a vast ocean and two and a half continents. They NO LONGER need to communicate by shouting really loudly and occasionally writing each other hidden messages in this blog. Feel free to poke around and post some comments.

Oh why didn't my lecturers go on strike today? I could have stayed indoors all day and concentrate on completing a website migration.

In other news, I've finally sorted out my accommodation matters for my final year here. Looks like I'm moving downmarket house-wise but upmarket location-wise. Sure will miss the 'bachelor pad' feel of this place.

by | § | trackbackReika, the Stalker

People are weird. Or erm rather, I am weird. I don't know how and when it started but I have become a blog stalker, sadly. If you are reading this and do not know who the hell is Reika or Wandie, you are a sad case too buddy. Well put it this way. If I am interested in my best mate's daily dosages, I suppose it is a good thing. Because I care for and love my mate and I want to know every single little thing that is happening to him/her.

However, my curosity doesn't stop here. Exploring the lives of other complete strangers has become my new hobby. It is as addictive as, if not more than, Korean dramas. To you-know-who-you-are, sorry about the reference, but I just can't resist penning down your innocent comment turned dramatic but hilarious encounter.

The art of being a stalker is to lurk in silence. Holy shit, I'm as eerie and creepy as hell. Anyway, my point is, c'mon most people put on fake fronts everyday for whatever the reasons. Since blogs are the lastest trendy venting outlet as nobody buys scented diary books with useless locks anymore, so why not lend a "listening ear", and let the real them vent as much as they need to?

I notice that people would leave corny comments just to attract the blogger's attention. Ok, I'm just as guilty too. But buddy, does he/she need our sympathy and acknowledgment in the first place? It's not as if our "Don't be sad, it's ok" or "Hey there you've the prettiest eyes I've ever seen" makes a lot of difference. Because you know what? We are no friends in their eyes, we are just pathetic stalkers with no lives!

Nevertheless, I still can't keep my thoughts and comments to myself if I think that what I have to say will make a little difference to peoples' lives, of course in a better way hopefully. Wait who am I kidding? Why don't I just admit that I haven't master the ultimate level of "stalkerism" yet?

"I've lost my faith in education. It never helps, people will never learn.... They will click on everything," - Mikko Hypponen, F-Secure's antivirus research director in an interview about the aftermath of the MyDoom worm(s).

To put it briefly, we went for the SingSoc CNY Dinner and came back with the first and consolation prizes in the the lucky dip. A huge bottle of perry mysteriously came home with us too but that's another story...

To show you how much we needed to win the Tefal set, we thought it would be good to show you some before & after photos.
