Unless you're prepared to cough up S$50,000 for the privilege, one should not utter the words Makansutra (oops!) in any of your daily conversations or writings just in case you're accused of 'infringing on the rights of the trademark' and somehow hurt their feelings of the people at Makansutra (die Britney!) ....awww."i add the name for fun lah and coz we like encik seetoh ride vespa to go around makan but we ride bicycle. and guess wat kena sue sia...!! i was like stunned! they cannot find me address so they email!! /me grinz." - ihsan_jahanam

So here I am visiting Warwick Castle over the weekend with new international students of the CS department. Ok who am I kidding here... except for a swiss couple and a german and cypriot girl, the majority were all chinese nationals here on the new MSc course! But since it was an all expenses paid trip, I took the bait and went along.

We've just launched a new motoring commumity website called oneshift. We're starting slowly with only news features, a vehicle database and forum for now. But we'll eventually be adding new features and services for all members as we progress. A marketplace for 'pre-loved' cars is in the works as I write! So now is a good time to sign up for a free account and become a pioneer (or 'laojiao') in no time.

From the Business Times (of all places)...Now all we have to do is to beat Japan and become Asia's number one eh?
12 October 2004, SINGAPORE - This year's Durex Global Sex Survey reveals that Singaporeans are just not having enough sex. Globally, people are having sex about 103 times per year while Sinaporeans lag behind with 79 times. This makes Singaporeans the world's second least sexually active after the Japanese. According to the global sex survey, Asian countries generally lag behind in the love stakes.
The Japanese manage just 46 times of sex per year, followed by Singaporeans and the Hong Kongers, both 79 times and the Taiwanese 80 times respectively. Apart from lacking frequency, Singaporeans also spend about four minutes less than world average of 19.7 minutes on foreplay. More.....

So if you're new to biking or are on the look out for some spare parts or accessories, do drop by! Or if you're looking for a spot to off load your old bike parts, do sign up here. by | § ¶ | trackbackI love travelling, but ...
Ill be flying to China in 5 hours time. Is it just me, or does everybody too hate spending a month in a foreign land without a fixed travelling itinerary? I would love to get lost in the cities with you but tell me, at least, where we are going so that I can read up on the areas rich history in advance. And so that I can find out where the Internet cafes are because my boyfriend and I have to compromise on our chatting (read: my complaining) time. We are not enjoying our honeymoon like the both of you.Edit:
A travel insurance agent, arranged by a cousin, called and asked for my particulars.
(Big Snip)
Agent: "So, Miss Choo, how long do you intend to stay in China?"
Me: "Tentatively a month".
Agent exclaimed: "A month? Do you really need so much time?"
Me joked: "I'm planning to cover the whole of China".
Agent: "Still, you don't need a month, do you?"
Me: "Well the place we are talking about is big".
Agent tried to sound interested: "Oh I see, I've been to China, but I've never been to Bick".
I pronounced the consonant 'g', and she thought she heard 'Bick'.
